CORCDC’s Civic Engagement initiatives serve as a convening platform for dialogue, engagement, and action for every member of the community. Our focus is to help people solve the problems of inequality and social justice by showing up and taking a seat at the table. Our goal is to equip community members with the tools to ignite the change they seek and represent the voice for the voiceless.

Through community discussions with leaders in different sectors of the community, we invite community members to have conversation around the issues they are facing day to day. This is a forum that enables a safe space for discussion and yields actionable plans to make a difference.

Honoring the memory of Martin Luther king by assisting high school and college students mitigate financial risks that comes with education advancement.

The power of changing institutions is conceptualized and demonstrated in the mobilization of a common cause. The power of the vote mobilizes the vision of a common cause into a reality. COR CDC helps the community utilize the power of their vote.

COR CDC believes in the importance of going beyond the conversation and being s part of the change by training community leaders on an inclusive approach to policies and programming.
